When To Clean Your Central Vacuum

Central vacuum cleaning maintenance depends on how often you use the appliance. Generally, central vacuum canisters should be cleaned every three to six months, more often if used more frequently. You can tell your central vacuum needs to be cleaned when the suction is weakening. 

Can I Clean My Central Vacuum?

Absolutely! Regular central vacuum cleaning and maintenance does not require any fancy or professional equipment. Simply locate your central canister, detach the hose and empty your central canister of dust and debris. Also check your filter to make sure it is in good condition – if it’s especially dusty, give it a quick vacuum to clear any dust build up. Reassemble and your central vacuum should be back to sucking!

I used Alberta Furnace Cleaning to clean our our dryer vent. I found them to be very professional and responsive. It was easy to get them on the phone and they explained all the available options. Alberta Furnace cleaning - cleaned our heating ducts and dryer vent in November of 2021.They were on time and very professional ,Well dressed.. even had company shirts and ties on under their coveralls.They did a very good job.... i had other companies clean the ducts before but nothing like Alberta Furnace completed... i was pleasantly surprised how all the ducts were cleaned and the how efficient and particular they were, getting into all corners and replaced any rubber grommets that they used during the cleaning process.They did a extensive cleaning of the A/C coil and furnace.They cleaned up after themselves... you could not even tell that they were here.I will be using this company in the future for furnace and duct cleaning and clothes dryer vent cleaning.I would highly recommend using them for your duct cleaning.You will not be disappointed.A.
