Cleaning before a baby arrives

The time before the baby comes is a great time to get special home cleaning items out of the way. Our process can be quite loud and let cool air into your home, so it’s nice to have done before your due date. Cleaning your furnace & ducts every 2-3 years is recommended. Check out our other tips for maintaining good indoor air quality.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

A new baby or houseguests can mean extra laundry! Dryer vent cleaning is recommended at least every 6 months to remove the lint buildup from your dryer vent. Excess lint can reduce the efficiency of your dryer, causing it to use more energy and take more time to dry, and in worst case scenarios could be a fire hazard.

Planning Ahead for Cleaning

For all special occasions we recommend planning ahead if possible, to ensure that we are able to get your cleaning done in time for your big day! Appointment wait times at certain times of year (Late August – December) may be longer than you’d like to wait, so plan ahead to claim your preferred date.

Recently had my furnace cleaning done. The fellas were great! They called ahead of time so I could put the pup outside, they were polite and quick. When they came inside they wore protective booties so they kept the floors clean. They also fixed my dryer lint trap when cleaning out the dryer!! It was missing a screw so the lint was going where it wasn’t supposed to. They also let me know that having both furnace and a/c, my filters should be changed 2x a year - not something I was ever told by furnace install company who “services” my furnace on a paid plan! So Alberta Furnace probably saved me a lot of money and headache down the road. 10/10 would definitely recommend this company and crew. Will definitely use them again.
